Infrastructure

ITQ counts with a large infrastructure and labs, including:

Adsorption and spectroscopy techniques

Especially for solid materials analysis and characterisation (XRD, XRF, XPS, TEM, SEM, TPD, TPR, TPO, EA, ICP, Raman Spectroscopy, etc.)

Chromatographic techniques

Advanced chromatographic and many other spectroscopic techniques for liquid mixtures analysis (HPLC, HPLC-MS, GC, GC-MS, GCxGC-MS, UPLC)

Catalytic reactors

A wide number of reactors for catalytic testing (continuous, discontinuous, fluidized bed, fixed bed, automated, HT reactors and MAT reactors)

Electrochemical reactors

Reactors for electrochemical characterization and testing of catalytic membrane reactors

Other equipment for materials preparation and characterisation

Vapour deposition chamber, spin coating equipment, catalyst preparation robot, thickness and surface image meter, in situ characterisation cells for radiation and synchrotron

Pilot plant testing

ITQ has a separate building devoted to pilot plant testing, with space and services for testing of bench and pilot prototype plants

Fabrication lab

We are setting up a new laboratory for membranes and reactors fabrication, including sputtering, laser sintering, extruder, tube coater, spray coater, injector and in-situ Raman Spectroscopy

...and have access to:

Mobirise

UPVfab
Micro-fabrication pilot line

Clean room facility with 500 m2 class 100-1000 (ISO- 5/6) designed as manufacturing pilot line for 6'' wafers
